This handsome fellow posed for me in most cooperative way. He seemed to enjoy the attention. His regal manner suggests that he knows how beautiful he is and that my admiration is to be expected.

He lives a pampered life at the Oregon Zoo, one of the most progressive zoos in the world. Their breeding programs are ensuring that these extraordinarily beautiful and precious creatures will continue to share the planet with us.

There are two distinct directions being explored in my work. One is with a clear appreciation of the beauty to be found in the world around us. The other explores an array of digital filters and effects that were impossible, or nearly-impossible, to create just a few years ago. My floral series is balanced by an ongoing passion for the landscape, and for exploring the genre of digital art. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, some of my earliest memories revolve around gazing into the heart of a Columbine and the odd structures of fungus.
