Artist's Description
The beautiful Calla Lily provides rich opportunities for photo compositions, whether it's capturing the full image in all its glory, or in its structural detail. This macro image of a portion of the inner spiral lends itself to an array of digital filters that bring out its hidden (to our eyes) colors. I'm amazed and inspired by its presence each spring.
About Lora Fisher
There are two distinct directions being explored in my work. One is with a clear appreciation of the beauty to be found in the world around us. The other explores an array of digital filters and effects that were impossible, or nearly-impossible, to create just a few years ago. My floral series is balanced by an ongoing passion for the landscape, and for exploring the genre of digital art. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, some of my earliest memories revolve around gazing into the heart of a Columbine and the odd structures of fungus. Thankfully, I was provided the freedom to explore, at will. I recommend it. I do hope that you will enjoy my expanding collections. If you have any questions or comments about my work, feel free...
